My friend and co-worker Joyce asked, Is Jim Carrey going to ruin every children's book I loved? Yes, he is, Joyce. Yes, he is.
I don't think I ever read Mr. Popper's Penguins, so I've got no sentimental attachment to that story, but if Jim Carrey ever gets himself attached to a production of this book, he's going to have to answer to me.
And he better not try to get into Dancer From The Dance, another classic childrens' book.
ReplyDeletehe is in "i love you phillip morris" which finally gets released this december. a film that did well in the festivals but has been in limbo looking for a distributor for the past few years due to it's gay subject matter. (disclosure my company worked on the film.)
