The New York City Gay Men’s Chorus’ BIG GAY SING 2 takes last year’s sellout sing along and turns up the dial. The evening’s sexy host SCOTT NEVINS, the award-winning TV personality from truTV's hit show "The Smoking Gun Presents," will lead audiences through this gay explosion of glitter. The night will feature celebrity performances, dance and drag numbers, and a chance to sing with the Chorus in our Big Gay Idol competition. Special guest star for the evening will be the legendary PETULA CLARK!
With music from Lady Gaga, Glee and Beyonce to classics by George Michael, Cher and Broadway, BGS2 leaves no gay stone unturned. Audience members will be invited to join in during certain songs as lyrics are projected above the stage.
"We've always said that NYCGMC was a community experience, and this show will certainly be a community experience," said artistic director Charlie Beale. "Everyone gets into the act in this one. Whether you're a Cher fanatic, a show queen or a disco queen, a gay man or an honorary gay man with a yen for fun this show has got something for everyone!"
