Win Free Tickets to HOW TO SUCCEED...With Joe Jonas!

UPDATE:  Congratulations to winners Sarah P. and Anonymous commenter #6!  We will be contacting each of you on how to claim your pair of tickets to "How to Succeed..."

Dying to see a Broadway show but don't have the cash?  Let Queer New York give you a helping hand.

Just enter our Free Ticket Contest for the current Broadway smash revival of How To Succeed In Business Without Really Trying and all your problems will be solved!  Well, maybe not all.  Some may still require you to visit your local Duane Reade, but that's your business.

Two lucky readers can win a pair of tickets.  To enter, write a comment on this post noting your favorite musical of all time, maybe include an anecdote about why you love it or a memorable performance that you've seen. The winners will be choosen at random and the announcement will be made here one week from today, on February 7th. Good luck!

See below for more information and additional opportunities for discount tickets!

Nick Jonas, teen star of The Jonas Brothers, is now on Broadway! Follow his riotous rise up the corporate ladder as he struggles to juggle the promotion, the corner office and —of course—the girl.

Joining him are Emmy Award® winner Beau Bridges, (Brothers and Sisters, The Fabulous Baker Boys) and Michael Urie (Ugly Betty) in this charming production that The New Yorker calls “a first-rate, high-stepping musical! This show is luminous!”

We hope you are the winner, but if not, here's how you can still save nearly 40% on tickets!

Now through February 29 get $77 tickets (reg. $132) for Orchestra/Front Mezz seats.  Beginning March 1 through April 1 get $87 tickets (reg. $132) for Orchestra/Front Mezz seats.  Use the code HSFAN105 at Broadwayoffers.com.

  2. My favorite musical of all time is Singin in the Rain. I grew up watching it and I literally must have seen it hundreds of times. It has the ability to make me smile no matter what is going on in my life.

  3. My favorite show still has to be Rent. I saw it many times and it always helped remind me that the issues that I was going nuts over were really not that bad, and that it wasn't all about me, and yes to remember to take it one day at a time . . . no day but today

  4. I have sooo many favorite musicals, but one of them would definitely be 'Next to Normal', which I saw 10 times on Broadway (including both opening and closing nights!!). :) The music is phenomenal, the direction and design impeccable, and both the original and replacement casts were fantastic, especially Alice Ripley and Marin Mazzie as Diana. That show deserved every Tony it won/was nominated for and more...and as someone who struggles with depression, the characters' plight resonated with me deeply. I identified with just about every character in that show, in fact, and it often made me cry. The closing night performance was especially moving, with everyone in the cast and the audience effectively saying goodbye to the emotional journey of the show...I will never forget that night, and how everyone cried and laughed together when Megan Fahey and Adam Chanler-Berat were both crying so much together onstage that they could hardly get through the scene! It was one of those magical Broadway moments.

  5. I thoroughly love "Memphis" - "Million Dollar Quartet" - "The Toxic Avenger" for very different reasons!
I have seen all 3 numerous times (I am currently the record holder for MDQ - 31, and with thanks to 20@20, show #32 tomorrow).
Memphis had me balling like a baby at the end of Act 1 and is a beautiful concept and story.
MDQ is the music I grew up on - ELVIS & Jerry Lee. I love Rock 'N Roll and this show is a 100-minute "Jam Session" with the entire show being totally quotable! My friends and I use MDQ quotes in everyday conversation.
Toxie is just near and dear considering I'm from Jersey. It is so comically brilliantly written! I saw it 10 tens, including Front Row for the final performance. David Bryan has definitely found his nitch! I'm eagerly awaiting Toxie's return to NYC!

  6. Wicked is definitely my favorite musical. I've had the pleasure of seeing the show three times and the most memorable time for me had to be Teal Wicks' last day as Elphaba. Her voice is absolutely incredible and I've never in my life seen more emotion put into one performance.

  7. My favorite musical of all time was American Idiot. The story really hit home because I had many friends that had to go off to war and I'm a sucker for Green Day. I saw a performance with Billie Joe starring in it as St Jimmy. Needless to say, my life was pretty much made in that one performance.

  8. My favorite musical That I've seen has got to be Mamma Mia! I love Abba's music because that's what I grew up to. Lisa Brescia and Jennifer Perry stole the stage and had me cracking up the entire time. By far the most fun I've had on broadway.

  9. In the Heights was my greatest musical experience. I won tickets to see the show from 106.7 Lite Fm and my favorite American idol winner Jordin Sparks was starting as Nina. I got to meet her after the show and I couldn't believe how much I fell in love with the music.

  10. The single best show that ive ever seen was promises, promises. Sean Hayes and Kristin chenoweth were one of the greatest pairs I've ever seen on one stage and between the duo's singing I was completely impressed. They were so sweet after the show as well.
