The folks at the Lifetime Channel reminded me via email that nothing is more Queer New York than Project Runway and that they would like us all to watch it Thursday at 10PM.
I'd watch it just because of the charming Tim Gunn whom I once interviewed:
Only Tim Gunn could speak of "the semiotics of clothes" without sounding like an ass. He comes across as such a sweetheart here and on the show. When he went to visit Carol Hannah, one of the sixth-season finalists, as she was preparing for the Bryant Park show, he told her that he loved her, and I'm sure he meant it.
